A 6 minute read by Tom Bloxham

Welcome to our February edition of Newsplash - a monthly round-up of all things Urban Splash, featuring new homes, scheme launches, commercial news and much more.

This month, we're returning to Park Hill in Sheffield, where, alongside our partners Places for People, we're launching brand new homes for sale on 29 February. You can also read the thoughts of our architect Mikhail Riches, on the work involved in creating 195 new homes. We're also launching more Town Houses at Port Loop in Birmingham on 15 February, with each home configurable by our customers. In Bristol and Manchester, we're hosting Help to Buy mortgage workshops this week at Copper Building and New Islington, helping people who want to buy their own home with as little as a 5% deposit. We've also completed our refurbishment of Beehive Mill in Manchester, where we've created modern workspaces fit for the 21st Century. Read on to find out more.

Creating 21st Century workspaces in Manchester

We’ve now completed our transformation of Beehive Mill in Ancoats, and to mark the occasion, architect Maurice Shapero - one of the city’s best, maverick designers - has blogged about redesigning the listed structure, musing over how a building made almost 200 years ago can still function so beautifully in a completely different age. The final remaining workspaces here are available now.

The deal also won NW Insider’s Deal of the Year too, while Royal William Yard won SW Insider’s placemaking award.
