Own your first home with Urban Splash – prices from £48,500

    19 March 2009

Award winning regeneration company Urban Splash is hosting an event to help first time buyers own their own home.

At the workshop style event, first time buyers will be given information and advice on how to purchase a home under the First Time Buyer Initiative (FTBI) – a scheme in which up to 50% of a property’s value is contributed by the Government. It is available on two Urban Splash schemes; Chimney Pot Park in Salford and Sylvia at the 3Towers in Manchester.

The event will be held in Sylvia on Thursday 26th March where apartments start at just £48,500 (for a minimum 50% purchase on the FTBI). It will be attended by representatives from Urban Splash, Plumlife – the Government’s Homebuy agency – independent financial advisors and solicitors each offering advice on how to get onto the property ladder.

Guests on the night will enjoy drinks, nibbles and have the chance to view some of the fantastic apartments available at Sylvia under the FTBI scheme. Anyone wishing to attend should email their details to rsvp@urbansplash.co.uk

Urban Splash sales director Nicola Wallis says: “Our main focus right now is helping purchasers into home ownership. The aim of our workshop night is to show potential purchasers that it is possible to own their own home, and that it can be affordable, exceptionally designed and in a great location.”

The 3 Towers comprises three buildings, each a former 1960s council block, which has been restored to offer affordable City Centre living for young people. The buildings are named; Emmeline, Christabel and Sylvia after the famous Pankhurst sisters, something which is emblazed in neon on the roof of each tower. The scheme has proved a great success with limited FTBI opportunities remaining in Sylvia.

Anybody wishing to obtain further details on the 3Towers or the FTBI should call the residential sales team on 0333 666 9999 or visit http://ec2-63-34-210-119.eu-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com/ for further details.
