Park Hill wins Sunday Times Home Award

21 September 2012

Award winning regeneration company Urban Splash is celebrating success after picking up an award for its Park Hill development at the prestigious Sunday Times British Home Awards 2012.

Park Hill beat stiff competition from projects around the country to claim the accolade for Best Conversion, Restoration or Refurbishment at the awards ceremony held at the London Marriott, in Grosvenor Square on Wednesday evening.

Tom Bloxham MBE, Chairman of Urban Splash, said: “This is great news for Sheffield. I am very proud to receive this prestigious award on behalf of the Urban Splash team. Park Hill is a project that has required bravery, creativity, tenacity, and empathy.

“Together with our Partners Sheffield City Council, Great Places and the Homes & Communities Agency we have completed the first phase of the project and can offer refurbished flats that look amazing as they near completion, and all of us cannot wait to welcome the new residents to Park Hill.”

The 50-year-old Grade II* listed building has been given a new lease of life by Urban Splash in partnership with Sheffield City Council, Great Places Housing Group, English Heritage and the Homes and Communities Agency.

The marketing suite is situated at the new main entrance to Park Hill on South Street and is open 11am-6pm, Tuesdays-Saturdays with late opening on Thursdays until 8pm. People can book a time to see the show homes by calling 0114 303 0375. For more information visit ec2-63-34-210-119.eu-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com/parkhill.
