Urban Splash launches a virtual new build

15 June 2011

The Urban Splash in house team has developed the new site with the assistance of, Liverpool based Mando Group, who developed the design template, and Elevator, recently acquired by Saatchi and Saatchi Health who built the site’s functionality.

Spurred on by changing customer behaviour Urban Splash decided to make the change and deliver a website which would offer much more than just a sales and lettings shop windows, as Chairman Tom Bloxham explains: “When people visit our developments I love to see how they gasp and say ‘wow’. In the days of paper based brochures, people got the same taste from the quality and design of them and I wanted our website to give the same feel of going on a journey. I wanted it to give the same sense of excitement, and get over the great design of our developments.”

Users will now land on a simple homepage where they can take two routes; either a journey through the Urban Splash homes portfolio or a look through the company’s commercial schemes. Customers can find out about schemes at any point in their development with information on planning, development, sales and lettings. The homepage backdrop is a constantly rotating gallery of beautiful Urban Splash images and has allowed the company to be indulgent with its visual back catalogue.

For each scheme people can look at a gallery of images, search our availability, find a map, see before and after pictures and learn about the designers and the history of the scheme.

Tom concluded: “Customers looking for homes or workspaces will find all the information for a project in one place. It sets the scene for users allowing them to get a really good feel for a development before selecting particular apartments or units.”
