Lakeshore officially opened by Architect turned Mayor George Fergusson
Award winning regeneration company Urban Splash celebrates the completion of one of the most ambitious restoration projects ever undertaken in the South West, Lakeshore, 280 stylish and sustainable eco apartments in South Bristol, on 1st March 2013.
The lunchtime event saw hundreds of Bristol’s movers and shakers gather round for an exclusive show round, along with speeches from Mayor George Fergusson, Co-Founder of Fergusson Mann, the architects behind Lakeshore, Tom Bloxham, Chairman of Urban Splash and Richard Hill Interim Chief Executive, Homes & Communities Agency.
The redevelopment of the former Imperial Tobacco Factory HQ, has resulted in the Grade II listed building being transformed into a stunning property, offering residents urban living on the doorstep of the countryside, set in 10 acres of country park. Lakeshore has won several awards this year, including Gold in the Sustainable Development category at the prestigious What House Awards.
The design led apartments overlook a private lake, which the building is built upon, surrounded by mature countryside boasting apple orchards and cherry trees, a fishing lake and pontoon, nature trails, BBQ and picnic areas. There is also a private resident’s gym, nature trail, allotments, boules court and onsite parking.

Urban Splash offer a number of ways to live at Lakeshore including shared ownership which allows customers to purchase anything from 25% to 75% share in the property based on what they can afford. In addition Urban Splash is contributing 5% deposit towards the purchase for those customers completing and moving in by Christmas. This incentive is available on all homes currently for sale at Lakeshore.
