Park Hill welcomes new tenant - Über

The company, that currently employs 26 people with a turnover of £4.6m, is due to make the move during March 2013. Über will join design agency Human who were the first business to announce a move to Park Hill in December 2012.

Urban Splash has created a range of commercial space options as part of its redevelopment at the iconic Grade II* Listed building with units from 500 sqft to 30,000 sqft. Über will occupy 3,963 sq ft over three floors and Human1,103 sqft of office space across two floors.

Greg Clark, Joint Managing Director at Über makes clear the reasoning behind the move; “We want an office that offers us a better location but doesn't take away our soul. Über has been based at Royds Mill since 2003 converting an empty industrial building in Attercliffe into an office that has been the creative engine behind many high profile and award-winning campaigns. Richard adds: “We have a lot of great ideas for the space at Park Hill including an informal “think tank” room where we can sit on Chesterfield sofas and collaborate on ideas, as well as the separate more formal private meeting areas. We are having tea making stations on all floors and a full kitchen where staff can have lunch and relax. We intend to show off our new home to lots of visitors, guests and clients and so there will also be facilities for events and entertaining them at our new Park Hill offices.

Paul continues; “Working with Uber on their new offices has shown how flexible the commercial offering at Park Hill is and how it can meet a range of needs and we look forward to helping other companies plan how they will use the space.
