Park Hill to become a new creative and digital hub

29 July 2015

Park Hill is to become a new creative and digital hub in the city as more Sheffield-based businesses plan to move there over the next six months.

Managing Director of Urban Splash, Simon Gawthorpe comments: “The work we are doing at Park Hill is not just about creating some fantastic living accommodation but is also using this amazing building with its great spaces, views and natural light to develop the commercial space for businesses, retail and hospitality. Park Hill is an award winning listed icon of a building and around it we are aiming to create a new mid century modern quarter of Sheffield. That is why we are delighted to be welcoming more businesses to Park Hill over the coming months who have bought or rented offices varying in size from 1,000 sq ft to 4,000 sq ft. We are also excited by the fact that by the end of this year the business community at Park Hill could have grown to 200.”

The businesses: Warp films, Cloaked, Yoomee, Airship, Kada Research, Can Studios and Alpha Recruitment will join Uber and Human who have been based at Park Hill for two years.
