These new pictures show the rapid transformation that’s taking place at East Float at Wirral Waters

15 February 2022

The modern housebuilder House by Urban Splash has unveiled brand new images of its first homes now in situ at East Float – a new neighbourhood at Wirral Waters in Merseyside.

The drone photography shows the speed of progress on site – with the delivery of all 30 homes in the first phase completing in just three months.

The images also show the first ever Row House homes, a striking new product coming first to Merseyside, having been precision manufactured using Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) at the House by Urban Splash factory in the East Midlands, before being delivered to the Wirral by road. The homegrown concept has been designed by Liverpool-based architects shedkm.

Row House is available through the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme; it is available in three sizes, a two-bedroom, two-storey home, a three-bedroom, two-and-a-half storey home, with the luxury of a roof terrace, and the largest, a four-bedroom, three-storey home. Residents will also benefit from private terraces as well as spacious communal gardens for their use.

Megan Howey manages sales on site at East Float and said: “I’m here each day watching this incredible new neighbourhood come to life. With our first phase of homes in place it will soon be time to welcome our first residents too – early adopters who have secured a unique property in a vibrant part of the Wirral.”

The drone footage also shows the three-storey Town House homes, offering open plan options, up to five bedrooms and home offices; there is a garden living option – a traditional layout with living spaces downstairs – or loft living – with bedrooms on the ground floor and open plan living areas upstairs. Each of them boasts unrivalled views over the water, thanks to the neighbourhood’s location facing East Float Dock, a stone’s throw from the River Mersey.

Megan added: “Our new residents will also benefit from a new park next to East Float, as well as all the fantastic new amenities planned for Wirral Waters.

“This is fast becoming a superb place for families and individuals looking to settle in a futureproofed neighbourhood – not only taking the amenities into consideration, but with Liverpool on its doorstep on one side and the parks, beaches and greenery of the Wirral on the other – it boasts urban living, community, suburban calm and glorious countryside. It’s set to be an unrivalled place to live, work and play.”

House by Urban Splash is creating East Float at Wirral Waters in a joint venture partnership with Peel L&P. Together they are creating a total 350 homes using modern methods of construction. Prices start from £210,000 for a two-storey Row House home, while the Town House homes are priced from £345,000. Customers can also tour the onsite interactive sales pavilion – an iconic structure featuring immersive brand experiences, including screens on which customers can explore various layouts of the homes.
