    Urban Splash completes 6,000 sq ft of deals

    Award winning regeneration company Urban Splash has completed deals on more than 6,000 sq ft of space in its North West portfolio this month.

    Lettings have been agreed at units predominantly in its Liverpool portfolio including Mersey House at the Matchworks, Tea Factory and the Vanilla Factory as well as a letting in Manchester.

    National audio visual hire business, Stagetex has taken a 157 sq ft office (Unit 5) at Mersey House the Grade II listed buildingwhich sees the business expand from their current unit within the Matchworks Studios due to expansion.

    Peter Van Neste director at Stagetex said: "Mersey House is a fantastic base for a business like Stagetex, where we need quick and easy accessibility to motorways, national transport links and Liverpool city centre. We were delighted that the team at Urban Splash were able to accommodate our growth with a space that will meet the needs of our business moving forward"

    Located on Speke Rd in Garston, Mersey House, was the original Bryant and May match factory management office. It also sees existing tenant, personal injury solicitors Handley Law extend their stay in units 9-11 totaling 683 sq ft in addition to Amanda Wright Recruitment's upsize from 351 to 885 sq ft.

    In the city centre, Urban Splash's Slater Street Studios welcomes new tenants The Tea Box Company, Hannah Lloyd Ltd and Derwent Facilities Management who have collectively taken more than sq ft of recently refurbished space in Liverpool's Ropewalks area.

    Completing the list of new Liverpool tenants are Social Media Company Apex Hub Ltd who have taken 1009 sq ft in the Tea Factory and car service comparison website - Dipstix Ltd which has taken 474 sq ft of space in The Vanilla Factory. Also based in the creative heart of the city, the Vanilla Factory successfully combines classic Victorian design with contemporary 21st Century architecture to create a unique, quirky working environment for thriving businesses.

    Meanwhile in Manchester, health and wellbeing business Revitalised has completed on a unit at Ducie House in Manchester. The building was completed by Urban Splash more than 20 years ago and has long been the preferred premises for creative and start-up businesses; it has past been home to Simply Red, 808 State and Drumbeat Creative.
